I wish to wish the wish you wish to wish,
but if you wish the wish the witch wishes,
I won't wish the wish you wish to wish.
Why learning a Foreign Language?
“Thought is the blossom; language the bud; action the fruit behind it”.
- Ralph Waldo Emerson
In order to think in a foreign language, first one needs to learn it, to grasp it as in the end to open new horizons to a brighter future.
A Foreign Language opens up new job opportunities, it helps you to expand your view of the world, encourages critical reflection on the relation between language
and culture, language and thought, exposes you to modes of thought and viewpoints that are
available only in the foreign language and its culture.
Knowing foreign languages and their cultures can make the difference between success and failure. The Chevy Nova failed in Latin America because the marketer did not realize that No va in Spanish means “It does not run.”
The video below is a good example how a foreign language can save you from "failure" :)
Based on the reasons above, I would spur you to ❝Learn everything you can, anytime you can, from anyone you can; there will always come a time when you will be grateful you did.❞
